“A terrible experience. Broken bathroom fixtures, dirty floors, dirty towels, blocked showers/sinks/toilets, slow service, unfriendly staff ( apart from Vic, Charlie and Amelia who, to be fair, were genuine and tried their best). To call this hotel 5-star is frankly fraud. It’s a shabby hotel, rooms and service 2 stars at best. Do not stay here with your family.”

“This was a one night stop over only so hard to make fair judgements. But after an exhausting day the large comfortable bed and bedding were very welcome. Our room was noisy though from the adjoining room with the sound from the TV on from 7am when we were desperate for a lie in. We had no shower products in the bathroom and the flush on the toilet was dodgy. Breakfast was freshly cooked and adequate - just need to keep supplies topped up. “We stayed for 2 nights and had the best time - The room was lovely and spacious with everything we could need in there - the lovely shower was fantastic too (not one of those that hardly wets you that you find in some places!) We ate from the lunchtime menu not long after we arrived and had a salad later in the evening - bot delicious and really fresh. Breakfast the next morning was beautiful - eggs benedict and waffles with bacon - both dishes really fresh and tasty. The staff gave us a local……

“We had a lovely stay. Relaxed and fun. Staff super friendly and helpful. Food was excellent. Only dropped a star as we had a main course and shared a pudding which took over 2hrs all in all. We laughed about it, I can only assume there was a drama in the kitchen and that's 2hy we waited so long. Still, doesn’t put us off, we'd stay again ”
