“I don’t ever write reviews, but I had to for this one. I loved it. It was so clean and the atmosphere was very modern. The pool was great and I loved the bathrooms! Complete walk in shower and the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were amazing! I always use my own, but there are big bottles hanging in the wall in the shower so I was kind of drawn to it. lol. I loved it so much that I tried to buy it online and it said it was made just for Hilton Hotels. (I’ve never stayed in one before) Also,……

The hotel has a lot of charm and character, the location is convenient to everything in the Garden District, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting New Orleans who doesn’t want to stay in the French Quarter.”

“You can walk to anywhere in the French Quarter and there is a streetcar right in front of the hotel, so the transportation is very convenient. The shared kitchen is spacious and open 24 hours a day, so I used it often. The only inconvenient things were that there was only a small light by the bedside so it was dim, and in some shower rooms the water was lukewarm, and the breakfast selection was limited. The cost of the stay was very reasonable, so I think it was great value for money and……

“The Marsh Hotel is a great place to stay. We give it 5 stars and hope to stay there again. The rooms are tight for two people, but it works! Please note though that the staff leaves after 11pm. Make sure you have everything you need for your stay (i.e. provided toiletries and towels) before that deadline. ”

“I was sceptical at first because there were reviews about it being in a rough neighbourhood , however, that is not the case it is right beside the medical school and veterans hospital. It is a 5 minute walk to the canal street car, taking less than 15 minutes to get to the French Quarter. We had no issue walking to and from the place at night. Very clean, very quiet and amazing for the price. I would recommend this to anyone looking to have a nice place to stay and I quiet place to sleep. ”
