“Excellent service and beautiful rooms! The facilities were great, the bed and pillows wonderful and it was I very nice stay. Staff very helpful. It was farther away from the airport than anticipated so the Uber and Taxi were more expensive than anticipated. Other than that, amazing!”

“The staff were very friendly and the room was beautiful but it was on the same level and overlooked the beer garden, so I think that this could be a problem in the summer. It also had an interconnecting door, which meant I could hear my noisy neighbours very clearly!”

“We checked in after midnight as we need to stay for one night before return home. Check in process was efficient and took only a few minutes. Reception lady was courteous and efficient. Would certainly stay again if needed in future.”

“Ideally situated for an overnight stay if walking the South Downs Way. Excellent Sunday lunch - we could understand why it was popular! The Landlord was very helpful in providing the best route to re join the South Downs Way the following morning. Unfortunately the nearby cafes were not open for breakfast on Monday - The Green Welly doesn't open and The Nutmeg doesn't open on Bank holidays! We resorted to buying two baguettes from The White Lion and having them for breakfast and lunch!”

“Absolutely fabulous hotel, we will continue to use it when we are travelling through Gatwick airport! Very helpful and friendly staff (toilet issue that they got on immediately for us), fabulous breakfast, and the bus stop is 40m away with plenty of buses running to and from the airport. New building, very clean, spacious rooms. Everything was great!”

“The room itself was lovely, but there is no sound proofing as such it was noisy with music from the bar coming through the floor till about 11.30pm. The breakfast was excellent. ”

“The soundproofing is poor, and I can hear the snoring from the neighboring room at night. I requested two bottled waters, but they did not provide them. The drainage in the bathroom is poor - after about 10 minutes of showering, the water starts draining out, as the shower area has a shallow floor and does not have enough time to properly drain. However, the hotel is indeed very close to the airport.”
