“Amazing stay and amazing staff at Avondrood. Our room was fabulous and well appointed. The included breakfast was great, and it was nice to have a bar on site for an evening drink. Avondrood is well located in beautiful Franschhoek and an easy to walk to restaurants and shops. My wife and I walked in the evening to restaurants in town and felt safe walking back at night. The setting within the Winelands is spectacular and Avondrood was a great jumping off point to explore many estates and……

“Lovely guesthouse! Everyone was so friendly and helpful, and the owner even dropped us down to the wine tram and helped us plan our day, so kind! Room was loovely and parking so convenient, all walkable to restaurants. We felt very safe . Would recommend this guesthouse to anyone staying in Franschhoek, it was absolutely perfect!”

“Plumwood boutique hotel was situated close to all the amenities in Franschhoek. The room was spotless. The staff were excellent on always on hand to help us. We had an amazing breakfast with a fantastic choice. Lovely little touches such as a bed turndown, message on our pillow, slippers, hot and cold drinks always available and a beautiful bracelet as a parting gift.
