“ We spent five nights in the petite apartment, which is beautiful, spacious and very well equipped. Lovely gardens, swimming pool and a braai. The maintenance and cleaning is to a very high standard, WiFi worked well. It’s well located in a quiet / safe area, pleasant walk to an abundance of great restaurants, cafes and wine bars. Highly recommend a visit, we’ll be back!”

“Plumwood boutique hotel was situated close to all the amenities in Franschhoek. The room was spotless. The staff were excellent on always on hand to help us. We had an amazing breakfast with a fantastic choice. Lovely little touches such as a bed turndown, message on our pillow, slippers, hot and cold drinks always available and a beautiful bracelet as a parting gift. We also used the Xest Spa at the sister hotel, Chapter House. We had the gold package which was amazing. The ladies there were so……

“Had a Marvellous time - The staff make you so welcome and everything is catered for excellently- from breakfast to assisting with dinner reservations, places to see, the owner even went to get a razor and shaving cream from the local shop as I had forgotten mine, Champagne for our anniversary - I can not recommend this place enough it’s a place of tranquility and splendour.”

“Great location just a few minutes stroll to Franschhoek cafes and restaurants. Warm and friendly welcome from Carol and Johannes and the other staff. The room was comfortable but would benefit from a spruce up as looked a bit tired, particularly the bathroom. Also there was a very strange smell coming from the bathroom but this could well have been from drains. ”
