“Check in was smooth and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Room was a good size, quiet, and the blackout drapes were great. Comfortable bed and a good sized bathroom with nice shower. Only minor complaint was that the room was very warm, even with the air on high fan and low temp. Good transport to city centre and couldnt be closer to 3Arena, really good for gigs.”

“What can you say about the castle it's absolutely gorgeous people were wonderful. The history surrounding it the beautiful lake it's a wonderful place to go and relax. I do wish there would have been a snack bar closer but other than that oh my gosh the warm croissants in the morning Yes it's absolutely the best eggs Benedict I have ever eaten so bravo someday maybe I'll go back”

“It was excellent all the way until break when I could not get a non dairy spread. Not good for a coeliac’s disease sufferer. But like I said otherwise a top class establishment. ”

“I upgraded my room and it was nice and spacious. There were a few small things that weren't quite right with it, though. The shower gel was empty, some of the sachets in the tea/coffee box hadn't been replenished, etc. Reception staff were lovely, the floor staff in the bar seemed over-worked and (understandably) stressed. ”

“We have a business suite for 2 nights to attend a wedding in the nearby castle. The resort itself is traditional, but it is absolutely delightful experience with the amenities it provided. It is not a 6 stars high-end luxury hotel, but you would definitely see its intention to make your stay feel comfortable and easy. The pool is amazing and breakfast is continental with plenty of choices. ”
