“Very nice place, great location, we had room by the road at the front so it was quite noisy but its an old building so this has to be expected. There is no breakfast and the restaurant was open until about 10:30. As long as you know about this its a great place. Ive stayed in a several places in Winchester and so far this was the best.”

“Easy check in and the hostess was friendly and helpful. The room had pretty much anything you could wish for in it. Very well equipped room, lovely linen and a super comfy bed with different firmness of pillows. Nespresso machine, mini fridge, DAB radio, large TV, Dyson fan, Iron, Hairdrier, all great! Checkout was easy the next day. Just a shame we couldn’t have stayed for longer and made better use of everything. Many thanks! ”

“ I normally refrain from negative comments but ... Parking is a nightmare experience - front car park was with difficult to find and then full ... After spending almost another hour parking at backdoor car park with proper payment of parking fees, you then receive a 100 pound parking ticket erroneously in the middle of night one week later !! ”

“Booked at last minute while visiting nearby Bombay Sapphire. What a complete delight! Property is quaint, yet has all the modern amenities you need. When we checked in, we were given a small thermos of milk to go with the tea/coffee service in the room. Had delicious burgers in the cozy dining room. The property abuts a footpath that takes you through the beautiful countryside, past a pond and a horse farm. Don't miss this delightful walk. Breakfast (included) was eggs cooked to order. ……

“Countryside cozy hotel, comfort to stay but the beds are a bit small and no double bed to choose.”

“Welcoming and friendly host (Julia) who met us on arrival and showed us to our room after showing us the breakfast room and downstairs facilities. Bedroom was well furnished and clean as well as the very large bathroom which had both shower and bath. Small fridge in bedroom stocked with chilled water and milk and lots of supplies to make drinks. Very quiet area, peaceful sleep. Lots of choice at breakfast (continental), self-serve. Parking on site, felt a safe area to walk to local restaurant.……
