“Lovely old building, very interesting design, beautiful large hall inside with wood beams. Nice gardens to stroll around. The main restaurant food was great, & the bar area is very cosy. Lots of lovely cocktails to choose from. Fantastic view of the river Thames (although no walkable direct path down to it).”

“Great place to stay. Good price for the area. Rooms are a little small for two. Buffet breakfast included. Nice pubs and restaurants nearby.”

“Celebrating 60th birthday. Great spacious room with balcony overlooking the weir. All staff were very courteous. Breakfast was wonderful in a delightful room overlooking the river and bridge in Marlow. Free parking and very quiet.”

“There was a very cosy feel to the hotel and the room. Breakfast was great, with lots of variety and staff were friendly and helpful. We had dinner in the pub on the first night and the meals were delicious. The room was fairly comfortable but it could do with some updating/replacing of items. The mattress was past it's best (resulting in an uncomfortable sleep on the first night) and the taps were loose, with drainage not working great. However we'd certainly return again.”

“Great location, it’s a fantastic building, it clearly needs some TLC!! I did stay in a block of rooms that looked like a jail, but the room was of a good standard. Breakfast really wasn’t pleasant, also understaffed, dirty plates everywhere and food was a great standard. I would stay there again, however hope you guys can make some improvements over the coming years ”
