They were pleasantly surprised by the property (they’re total hotel snobs), and even more impressed by the phenomenal service. Mother dearest is still raving about the aesthetic and finishes throughout the property—and they left a few days ago! The décor, comfort, and on-site food and drinks were all major hits. “The FMI enjoys a very convenient location in the French quarter at a generally affordable price. The architecture style is french with big windows and lovely courtyard quiet in a short distance away from the hustling streets outside. The manager and frontdesk people are all very nice dealing with unexpected situation in a very prompt manner. There is cable TV in the room. The AC works very well. The window view is pleasant.”

“The property is clean and beautiful. It has an amazing pool. We stayed during the slow season in New Orleans, so the property was quiet. The hotel advertises their swim up bar, but it was not open during our stay. They did have a walk-up bar, however. They also open the pool to the public for a fee, making it more crowded than it would be with guests only, but loungers are reserved for guests. The design of the hotel is gorgeous. Our room was a bit small, but comfortable and clean. The bar staff……

“Property was in a convenient location. 4 minutes walk to casino. 10 minute walk to bourbon st. Best part is we didn’t have to deal with the nightlife unless we wanted too. Corner store in the corner.”

“The hotel is absolutely stunning the food was fabulous. The rooftop had spectacular scenery. Hotel itself is filled with war memorabilia throughout. Nothing short of amazing. The night staff was not as pleasant or accommodating as the day staff, but that's to be expected. ”
