“I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel! Everything was as pictured online and even better in person. The room was very clean! The shower had excellent water pressure! “We stayed here on a budget trip to NOLA. We had low expectations, but overall, this motel was decent. There was a bad smoke smell in my room that was not taken care of. The guy at the front desk tried to tell us we couldn't eat in our room. Other than that, the stay was what we needed. If you want a decent breakfast, bring cookware and more food because breakfast is only waffles and bread. ”

“The FMI enjoys a very convenient location in the French quarter at a generally affordable price.
