“This hotel looks like it has recently been refurbished. My room faced out on to the main road, was opposite a bus depot, and the West Coast main railway line was beyond that. But in spite of this, the room was relatively quiet and was comfortable. Little details were missing, such as a shelf and towel rail in the very small on-suite shower room. “We had a nice stay here over bank holiday weekend, was not very busy though so hard to review what it's like if it's busy. Rooms were very clean, nice bathroom, fan in the room (no AC but not an issue over cool weekend). Gated parking and a 10 minute walk to the station in a safe area (area seems like an industrial estate that's becoming more residential and there is a nearby hospital and highrises, pass 2 restaurants and a pub on the way to the station so doesn't feel unsafe at all). Although the Black Lion seems to be a bit far away from all Westminster attractions, you are there in no time by Jubilee overground or bus (bus stops right in front of the hotel, tube is a short walk away). “Used the Kilburn Arms just for one night during our family’s trip to London as its only about 12 minute walk from a Jubilee tube line. Nice and friendly staff, who showed us to our room. We had a family room (quadruple) which was great for us. King size bed and 2 single beds. All very comfy. Parking was for free just on the side street,but that’s because we visited this over weekend.
