“Excellent location”

“The property was basic, as expected, but the host's behavior was shockingly unprofessional and erratic. After honestly correcting a simple booking mistake (one guest instead of two) and promptly offering payment, the host initially seemed polite but slow to respond. Things turned serious when I accidentally locked myself out of the bedroom—without shoes or phone—and urgently contacted him via my smartwatch. He claimed he'd arrive in an hour but vanished for hours, ignoring multiple calls.……

“Easy check in and the hostess was friendly and helpful. The room had pretty much anything you could wish for in it. Very well equipped room, lovely linen and a super comfy bed with different firmness of pillows. Nespresso machine, mini fridge, DAB radio, large TV, Dyson fan, Iron, Hairdrier, all great! Checkout was easy the next day. Just a shame we couldn’t have stayed for longer and made better use of everything. Many thanks! ”

“A wonderful venue for a friend's birthday bash. Staff were very attentive and polite. The room was exceptionally clean and well equipped. Also, a really comfy bed too. ”

“It was a lovely stay, but I thought that it lacked the extra little touches and attention to detail that a five-star hotel would have over a three or four star hotel. The room was clean, and staff friendly.”

“Good: The decoration of the room is cozy and in good classic style There is a bar on the ground floor which is good Staff are nice and friendly Bad: Strong smell in the bathroom which is disgusting, we think that comes from the eroding wood The water boiler is not clean and there is even water remain inside Being asked for the room key after check out but believe their staff mixed things up (Wrong number tag on the key)”

“Welcoming and friendly host (Julia) who met us on arrival and showed us to our room after showing us the breakfast room and downstairs facilities. Bedroom was well furnished and clean as well as the very large bathroom which had both shower and bath. Small fridge in bedroom stocked with chilled water and milk and lots of supplies to make drinks. Very quiet area, peaceful sleep. Lots of choice at breakfast (continental), self-serve. Parking on site, felt a safe area to walk to local restaurant.……

“The pub was beautiful and I loved every minute there. My surname is Francis and i was even give the room name of Francis Francis. I had a lovely stroll through the village.... Beautiful chocolate box village. Definitely A*”

“Nice and comfortable excellent decor. However toiletries need improvement, body wash and shampoo combined and no body lotion”
