“Room was very comfortable, staff are friendly, foods is excellent. But, it needs improvement in car park facilities, an additional staff for parking may be better at peak season.”
“Beautiful, the views really make this hotel magical.
Its tucked away so you need a car if you're going out for dinner, the ferry is about a 30 minute walk and up/down steep steps, and stops at 6:30pm.
Drinks were outrageously priced.. £16.50 for a beer, a soft drink and two packets of crisps!!
All is forgiven when you take in the sea though. The interiors are also beautiful. Breakfast overlooking the little cove was just the most incredible way to start the day, and it was delicious! ……

Great size room, with amazing views.
There is parking next to the Hotel in a pay & display car park, which is £10 for 24 hours”
“Wonderful Escapism
A treat away for my 50th birthday. Exceptional service throughout our stay from bar and restaurant staff, through to the lovely cleaning ladies. Made my stay very special, fabulous food both at the Pilchard Inn and the black tie dinner. Any little issues were dealt with straight away and am already looking for an excuse to go back again, oh and you must brave it and take a swim in the mermaid pool.”
“The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, we were made very welcome, another room was found with less stairs for my elderly aunt I was travelling with, everything we needed, home from home, very comfortable bed, wide range of food served within the inn, delicious I can recommend the seafood bisque!
We will be staying again. ”
