“We arrived at 17:45 on the Sunday, to find that the kitchen closed at 18:00. We had just walked 14 miles as part of our Grand Union Canal walk for Yorkshire Cancer Research. The staff were very accommodating and we were well fed! The shock was when we received the receipt for the meals and a few beers and a 10% service charge had been added. We were not asked whether we wanted to pay that. Given the circumstances, we would probably have agreed to it, but it would have been nice to be asked. ”

“This is a gem. We stayed on a Sunday evening having had a long day in Birmingham (40 mins north). It was quiet but beautiful and the staff were lovely. The main building is i assume an old stately home and our room was in ond of a few new wings. The room itself was spacious and spotless. We had a grest night's sleep and in the morning the shower was great. Breakfast was also plentiful and delicious. To top it off it was incredible value.”

“Stayed here to be close to Silverstone circuit for Moto GP. Did the job, 15 minutes to the circuit. Room clean, bed comfy, hot shower. Communal areas really need cleaning up and decorating. Not a good impression! Glad room was better!”

“Enjoyed our stay especially the pool which we used every day,nice and warm which you can’t always say for hotel pools.Convenient bus stop outside the hotel which we used to go into Stratford,Warwick and leamington spa so never used the car for the four days of our stay. Had a lovely meal in the restaurant on the Saturday evening.Staff were very friendly and helpful.”

“Beautiful gardens and lovely terrace for drinks. staff were fab, special thanks to Stuart on reception for being polite, attentive and very professional. Imanii, in Sencha, the asian themed restaurant was super polite, warm and welcoming and gave good recommendations as to the food we were ordering. she worked hard to keep everyone served quickly and professionally. ”

“Just want to preface this by saying I did enjoy my stay here, the staff are wonderful and it's in a nice quiet area. However, I did notice that the air filter thing in the bathroom was absolutely caked in dust and the breakfast was somewhat lacking, the sausages were like chewing rubber and the beans were quite thin. ”

The check-in was efficient and the restaurant, especially the bar, was a really nice space with nice decor and lots of light. I ate a delicious breakfast, salad for lunch and a delightful meal in the restaurant. Good vegetarian and vegan choices if required and clearly seen on the menus.
