“A friend and I stayed for two nights on Bank Holiday. The welcome was friendly, everything worked and the service was excellent. The decor in the main house was rather tired butwas adequate and the room price reflected this.The food was good and the beds comfortable.”

Service was good, and the lounge area, conservatory and garden all add to the extra space.Service was friendly and efficient and a good breakfast. Location quiet and very near the sea. “Such a beautiful historical hotel,went to celebrate our 10 year anniversary.The room was decorated for us.Such a lovely surprise.Balcony view was spectacular on the harbour.Outdoor pool and spa area lead to the beautiful beach.Staff so friendly.Food was top notch too.Loved it that much ,stayed over longer .”

“Staff are worth their weight in gold and the Canford boasts some heavy weights. Take a walk along the nearby promenade and take in the surrounding area and its wealthy residents. Food at breakfast and dinner was superb. This establishment like so many other places is a dog friendly hotel and bar. On a damp day, your nose will remind you. I tried to plug in my firestick at the back of the telly but was put off by the avalanche of dust. Bathroom window is losing the fight against the ivy growing……

“A nice hotel that is looking tired. Our room was rather dusty with cobwebs on the balcony. It feels like no investment has been made in this hotel in a long time, which is a shame. Great location though and nice spa. Lovely breakfast and the staff at breakfast were great. ”
