“We stayed here in the Tudor 4 poster room. While some of the reviews mentioned noise in some of the suites, we only heard guests downstairs when we were in the bathroom and then only in the afternoon. It was quiet in the evening / night. It was a great place to stay after a 5,000 mile trip from the Western US and recover from jet lag before going on to meet friends and family elsewhere in the UK. (It’s about a hour from Heathrow). “Lovely stay, good location and super friendly staff. Car parking is an issue as mostly permit holders unless you want to pay £14 a day. Walked everywhere we needed to once we found a space. Good continental breakfast enhanced by Valentina’s happy service! Room a bit small especially the bathroom and no lift (luckily we were only on the second floor and only had a small overnight case). Individually decorated and tastefully styled rooms. ”

“Our room was slightly small but the bed was very comfortable and clean. The heated towel rail didn’t seem to be working, probably turned off with the heating so our towels didn’t dry well, although we could have asked for fresh ones, prefer to reuse. There was plenty of easy parking. The breakfast had a good choice of hot food. It was good to have a lounge room as we were staying along with two other couples so we were able to meet there.”

“Great hotel with pub and restaurant, in a tudor building from the 1700s. The staff were excellent, super friendly and gave me a lot of information about the area, things to do. Only drawback is that due to the age of the building there was a bit of noise from other rooms”

“We enjoyed our stay at Grand Hotel Brighton. The service was impeccable. It elevated the whole experience at the hotel despite some hits and misses. Every staff was professional and friendly (even their uniform was tastefully designed). The lobby and lounge were beautiful, giving us a really good impression of the hotel. However, while we were aware of the history of the hotel, the bathroom was a bit tricky to use. It was obviously dated and needed some refurbishment work. The water pressure……
