“We moved here unexpectedly after our original hotel lost power, and it turned out to be a huge upgrade. The Courtyard was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located — right in the heart of Kailua-Kona. We could walk to everything: the beach, shops, restaurants, and attractions were all just steps away. “We loved our stay at Kehena house! We were greeted by Stephen when we arrived and given a quick tour. They were hosting a Pride potluck that day and he kindly invited us to come eat and join in as guests of the house. Everyone we met was friendly and we felt safe to be ourselves. In the room, there was a list of unique weekly activities and opportunities near by, which made the experience feel even more welcoming. The property is *amazing*. “Walking paths and vegetation do a great job of lessening the feel of a large resort - you never see more than a handfull of people at any one moment. ”

“The most beautiful resort we have ever stayed in. Amenities on amenities and incredibly kind staff.They upgraded our room which was so generous and the view was to die for. So peaceful! We loved our time here as we were attending a wedding on the property. Do be warned the dining options are very expensive and there aren’t many affordable options near the property. ”

“Pros: This is our first time staying at a lodge like this, so close to nature, just like camping. You will hear coqui frog whole night & seeing them jumping next to your door step. Animals free roaming, peacocks, ducks, chicken. Kids loved it. Cons: There is barely any light at night in the Property…so if you come back late, it’s a bit challenging to find your cabin.”
