“We had a wonderful stay at the Volcano Forest Inn. The large room, access to the full kitchen/common area, the quiet location surrounded by the rainforest, and the private deck allowed us to enjoy a relaxing visit. The inn has a great location just outside the national park. We were able to stop at several places before they became busy. There was a good amount of information on the area and a tv with current info on the volcano. The rooms are well maintained and comfortable. Overall,……

“Christine is very communicative and this is a one of a kind property! The cats ate the best and the thoughtfulness of the design is top notch. We loved all of the ideas about where to go and what to do as well. We had to work a little to figure out how to cool down the rooms quickly but that was more us than the property :). You really felt like you got away from it all!”

“Very cozy home with everything we needed for our stay. So close to the national park we could rush there in 5 minutes when we saw te volcano was erupting. Downstairs resident nice older gentleman with small dog we enjoyed visiting with. Future guests may appreciate knowing there is a dog downstairs in case that is an issue, it was not for us at all.”

“Had a very pleasant stay at Jenipher and Davidʻs home. Jenipher communicated well and responded to all questions/concerns. The studio was fully stocked with amenities galore! Very clean, inviting and peaceful. I heard the coqui frogs at night but didn’t mind or lose sleep over it. Loved the interior local decor and cool relaxing colors. I was allowed to bring my cat too (I brought my own kitty’s supplies) which I appreciated very much! ”

“Check-in and check-out were perfect. The beds and furniture were super comfortable. It was truly a tropical oasis to enjoy our time between visiting the volcano and the falls in Hilo. The cats made the stay even sweeter as they perched themselves on the lanai. Christina was a very attentive host and gave us lots of good ideas. We enjoyed walking to the cliffs at both sunrise and dusk for our zen with the waves crashing on the cliffs. It was such a nice change from the more touristy……
