“Plenty of historic character. Friendly staff and delicious breakfast. Try Howard's for dining (since 1946) with excellent dinners and local sourced mountain trout. Pork chop was also yummy. ”

“Excellent find. You’re not going to find a better place in the Gatlinburg area at this price. I come down regularly and this is the first time staying here but I am glad I did. The staff was super friendly, helpful and know the area well. Free parking means you can walk into town and save yourself $20 on parking. Plenty of food options nearby as well. The room was fresh, modern and clean. Nothing fancy but you’re not staying at a resort and the quality of the room is a better value than many……

“Because of the parking problem, I went to bed at 2 a.m. Because of the attitude of the other party in handling the problem, I left a message to the hotel on Google. The hotel replied that they had no problem. Being rude and providing a solution are two different things. It is not rude just because the solution is unreasonable. I talked to the girl at the front desk, but she ignored me. It was like they didn't care about anything after you paid! An Indian lady's attitude was relatively good.……

“Pros: 1) room is pretty comfortable and clean. 2) Nice balcony and good river view. Cons: 1) Kind of noisy since it’s on the main street. 2) Be an early bird otherwise there will be a long line waiting for breakfast in the narrow room.”
