“Our stay in the hotel was comfortable and the hotel is located within walking distance from the train station. I just feel that it was newly opened and everything is in great condition. The breakfast is great, but unfortunately, we were not get notified of the opening times of the restaurant, so we miss one of the breakfasts due to early departure for the train (there was a strike on that day). Apart from that, I will definitely reconsider this hotel when I visit Edinburgh again.”

“The heating in the room was not perfect and the room was cold at night. The bad was not comfortable ,the mattress was too firm to me but i suffer from backache.They have nice swimming pool but the water was cold. Everything else was perfect.”

“There's no lift and lots of stairs. I was assigned to a room in the basement the first night, the night lights didn't work. They sent in the maintenance guy, but he didn't have the parts to fix them. The door didn't lock well from inside, so I had to put a chair against it. It is unthinkable that they didn't check if everything works in the room before they make arrangements. I stayed in that room for two nights. Then they changed my room. Finally everything worked in the second one, but it's……

“The room was good, bed comfortable. The desk staff were good for the most part but the man who checked us in wasn’t particularly clear in his voice. He asked us if we’d booked breakfast - I thought we had. He said it wasn’t showing and asked us to check and come back and let him know. We didn’t come back, of course as 6 floors is a bit far to come down. It was my mistake as my booking seemed to not show the breakfast booking.
