“We loved our stay at Hotel Heliconias. The staff was so welcoming and friendly. The grounds were beautiful. A sloth was right on the property. Beautiful flowers and birds. The restaurant had a wonderful free breakfast in the morning and great dinner options. The hot springs on the property were delightful. About 30 minutes from Arenal Volcano”

Ricardo Vargas the head chef for breakfast was fantastic and so very considerate in making our experience at breakfast amazing. “We stayed here for only two nights for my birthday, as we wanted to splurge a bit. This is a gorgeous, very well manicured 5-star resort. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a higher level room for my birthday, so that front desk staff knew how to make an impression. The room was crazy amazing fabulous. Look at their website pics as they are very accurate. Expedia includes two tours when booking, so we got a fabulous night frog tour, and a half-day personalized tour of their wildlife……
