“I can honestly can not find anything negative to say about Ahau. It really was one of the best vacations we’ve ever had. The staff was amazing. The food was amazing, the room was amazing. Entire hotel was amazing. Service was top notch. The ocean was full of sea weed but the hotel was so good at cleaning it up from the beach. These guys work very hard. The way the hotel was positioned in the jungle, not to disturb the natural habitat and using materials native to the area make this the most unique experience we've had. They warned us taxis to the location were expensive and they were right. Plan to spend $100 a day just to leave the facility. The facility is a bit dated and doesn’t look quite a nice as the website photos. Still it was perfect for us. ”
