“We based ourselves here for a long weekend to visit some places in the New Forest, we found it a pleasant and comfortable hotel, ideally placed for our requirements with lovely views and nice staff. We stay in plenty of hotels throughout the country and this is probably the best we have found in quite some time.”

“Our second stay in this group of Boutique Hotels, and we were given a complimentary upgrade which was amazing!. The group of hotels have a small number of rooms, which makes them ideal for a quiet stay and the rooms are lovely and comfy. We had breakfast included which was nice and as part of their chain there is a local pub just up the road to have a meal in, should you choose. We had Sunday dinner there was lovely. The staff are all friendly and welcoming and helpful, overall 5 stars all day……

“Very comfortable room, lovely setting, friendly staff. Plenty of parking and easy check in. The hotel looks a bit tired in the communal areas but it's reasonably priced and definitely a step above budget hotels. ”

“Chewton Glen is a glorious hotel with fabulous, well cared for grounds. (Although the patios and tables in the Croquet rooms, could do with attention)The staff are exceptional, with every individual staff member reacting promptly, to our requests. We dined at the Kitchen on the first evening, which was superb. Unfortunately, on both mornings of our stay, our cooked breakfasts were rather disappointing. “We spent two nights at the White Star Tavern hotel. The rooms are lovely and quite luxurious. The breakfast was excellent. The only issue we had was a small dog lives in a small apartment at the back of the hotel. When we went out to the rooftop garden it bit my foot and ripped my husband's shoes. ”
