“The only Issue we had was the lack of ales at the bar. Come Saturday evening, there was no real ale available at the hotel bar. This prevented us from eating at the hotel in the evenings. ”

“Excellent location, parking. The room was big, comfortable bed and clean, we will be back.”

“Right in the middle of the High Street so very convenient. Parking is 5 minutes walk. A traditional pub with rooms above. Our room was very compact and overlooked the storage yard which meant that, with the window open, there was noise from moving beer barrels around. It wasn’t very noisy but is probably not great if you want an early night and you’re a light sleeper. ”

“We received a lovely greeting - nothing was too much trouble. Our room was spotless, comfortable bed and very nice on suite. They provided everything & more what needed, kettle, selection of teas, coffe, sugar, biscuits and a daily chocolate each. We would highly recommend ”

“Polite and helpful customer service. Clean and cozy. The breakfast is very good especially the fish. The only draw back is the WiFi - as it is free, its bandwidth is limited, so a bit slow and unstable.”

“Wonderful property! Beautiful bedroom - very clean - premium bedding. Delightful garden - huge with amazing wisteria which all enhanced our cream tea. Staff very helpful all over. Parking and unloading not the easiest. Breakfast was disappointing - practically cleared up buffet 20 minutes before end. Overall would absolutely recommend!”

“Stayed here with our family of 4, the room was amazing! It is more of a B and B than we normally book, so I was worried about our kids being too loud. I would absolutely go back with my husband, though! Cute town, and so close to the beach. Communication wasn’t always quick, but not sure if that’s because I used the Expedia app?! All in all would stay there again. ”
