“Great one night stay after attending a wedding in the area. Well appointed room, in adjoining stable block, with bottled water, comfy bed and great shower. Lovely breakfast. We were also given a courtesy call on the day to check we were still coming as we were at the wedding. Highly recommend.”

“The location is not good, far away from the city center. The room is not very clean. The staff will not let you feel welcome. The car park is not on site the hotel, need to walk to the public car parking , walk 5-7 mins. I will not stay at this hotel again. ”

“If you use a wheelchair make sure you state this when booking. Accessible suites are only available on the 2nd floor and the lift does not go to the third floor. We were on the third so we had some steps to use and drag the chair up. An access ramp is at the side of the building but, if you cannot do stairs, you have to wheel through the outside bar patio in the front, into the back of the bar, through the restaurant and out into the lobby. “Really lovely stay at the hotel. Family of 5, with 3 children 5 and under and we felt very welcome. Perfect for a visit to Peppa Pig only 10 mins away. The staff were great. Really welcoming and no issue with the noise that children bring. Dinner was lovely. Although pub grub it was really tasty. Family room was very big. Although a little tired looking was absolutely fine for our stay. Would definitly recommend and would stay again. Only downside. The outside area would really benefit……

“I spent three nights here whilst away for work, I got there late on the first night and a late check-in was no problems, the staff here are fantastic, really nice people and always happy to talk, the hotel is in nice grounds with horse fields out the front, I went for a run around the local area and it was nice. The room itself was very large, and a little dated but comfy enough, it had some comfy chairs that I could use for watching TV rather than having to sit on the bed which I like. The……
