“The FMI enjoys a very convenient location in the French quarter at a generally affordable price. The architecture style is french with big windows and lovely courtyard quiet in a short distance away from the hustling streets outside. The manager and frontdesk people are all very nice dealing with unexpected situation in a very prompt manner. There is cable TV in the room. The AC works very well. The window view is pleasant.”

“We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Provincial. Our room was right at the interior courtyard where it was nice to sit outside in the evening. The room was comfortable. The location is very accessible to Jackson Square and other French Quarter sights. We did not know about the $50 a night valet parking charge, but this seems to be the norm in New Orleans. ”

“The staff were all courteous and helpful. The room and property were both clean and well kept. The location was in walking distance from bars, restaurants and stores. The parking garage was close by asc well. We enjoyed our stay!”

“We loved our stay here! We stayed in the La Sirena suite which is at the very top of the building. Below I list some 'cons' but they weren't really cons - more of considerations for those who might be sensitive to certain factors. Pros: - Excellent location - relatively chill block but close to so much. - R Bar on the ground floor is a great no frills neighborhood bar with mix of locals and tourists. Lively but not overly crowded, superb staff, and old school movies playing on the big screen.……

“Great location. The property is in need of minor repairs (light switches, locks, floors). However the staff is truly exceptional. Emily and Brittany were so kind and gave the best recommendations. ”

“The property was a great location and beautiful. I would not suggest staying on Toulouse or bourbon on the weekend. There is no noise proofing at the hotel so you are hearing yelling, cop sirens and partying until 4am. I would suggest a courtyard room maybe it would be less noisy at night. ”

“My stay was good but it could have been better. My colleague and I felt like the staff could have been more hospitable. I have visited a lot of other Marriott’s hotels and they were much more hospitable and accommodating. ”

“Perfect retreat for my celebration of life trip to NOLA! The Bunk House room is a gem with its unique, solid bunk bed and dreamy wall art creating a magical ambiance. Though not large, the room is thoughtfully organized, feeling spacious and functional. The powerful AC and fan were lifesavers in the heat, and the shower's water pressure was incredible after city explorations. Loved the practical touches - great coffee maker, mini-fridge and microwave for storing late-night po' boys from NOLA……
