“This was a beautiful place to stay. The room and bathroom were very spacious. Lots of storage options and very conveniently located to walkable places like to eat and shop. The only thing that I could say that could have been better was directions to the pool. I went looking for it and didn't find it. But I didn't ask either. This is going to be a place that I will continue to stay. So I would highly recommend it!”

“I want to discourage everyone from staying at the Royal Frenchman… in order to keep this place to myself! Don’t stay here if want a modern hotel, with many modern amenities, lacking in character and charm. Don’t stay if colorful staff with a passion for the music of New Orleans ( which they bring nightly to the hotel lobby or courtyard) is not your thing. Don’t stay if listening to music wafting in from Frenchman street late into the night seems annoying. But you have a passion for the people,……

“The room was cute. The staff was very friendly. Easy walking to trolley and French Quarter. Bus stop right outside hotel. The only downside is that we didn't feel comfortable swimming in the evening because the lights weren't working. ”
