“I stayed at the Royal Frenchmen Hotel and Bar with my dad during a last-minute trip to New Orleans. We booked an ADA room, which was affordable and met our needs after his knee replacement. Overall, the stay was decent—not terrible, but not the best either. The location is great if you love nightlife and jazz—right on the edge of lively Frenchmen Street, with live music both outside and inside the hotel. However, the nightly jazz performances make it difficult for light sleepers to get a full……

“Great location. Low noise even though it is only one block off Bourbon St. Good staff and rooms are as nice as shown in the pictures. Would stay there again.”

“The property was in a good location for us as it was on the edge of the French Quarter and away from a lot of the action. It was next to a stop for the red streetcar which was very handy when it was working. Employees were very nice and accommodating. Property had garage parking which was great. The room was a nice size for an extended stay.”

Shower curtain doesn’t even reach down to the tub ! HVAC not great - sitting room fine, bedroom warm. Blackout blinds do not keep the sun out.”

“Amazing staff!! The hotel is absolutely stunning with its artistic, hip atmosphere. Loved my room, really appreciated the smaller details such as great shampoo, hair dryers, and the bed was so comfortable! Two minor things: There was a stain on the carpet- but the room was obviously very clean! Also it might be helpful to label the doors that connect to the other suites because I thought maybe it was a closet. Definitely planning to stay here again! ”

“You can walk to anywhere in the French Quarter and there is a streetcar right in front of the hotel, so the transportation is very convenient. The shared kitchen is spacious and open 24 hours a day, so I used it often. The only inconvenient things were that there was only a small light by the bedside so it was dim, and in some shower rooms the water was lukewarm, and the breakfast selection was limited. The cost of the stay was very reasonable, so I think it was great value for money and……
