“We chose it cuz decided to go to SC at the last minute and there weren't so much choices for us. Generally, staffs there were okay but it wasn't worth the price for a motel at such condition. Pro: Good location, you could get there easily when going down from the highway. Con: The walls were pretty thin so we could hear people next door talking clearly when it's loud enough.”

“The Staff was very helpful. The breakfast that was complementary was one of the best I had ever had had a hotel pool area and outside amenities were great. I recommend this hotel and the next time we’re in Charleston, we will stay here”

“This place is WONDERFUL! Perfect location for the market, catching a horse carriage ride, lots of restaurants, couple of blocks to waterfront. BUT, the Loutrel is impeccable! From the moment you walk in the door, smiling faces. Our room was so so very clean, modern, with great turndown service we didn’t even have to ask for! Bar has happy hour🍷Refreshing drinks are there to welcome you in. The people who work here are SO eager to help and do it with a smile! Thanks for a Very Pleasant surprise……

“We loved the pool and the location. The house was beautiful and our room was too. However, the listing on Expedia says there is “free” offsite parking 0.3 miles away. When we arrived the spots on the property were full so I took the parking suggestion sent in my guidebook and headed to the 34 St Phillips Street Parking Garage. When I got there I found out that parking was in fact not free, but $1 per 20 minutes with a maximum of $24. I was willing to pay this, but was disappointed because I……
