“The hotel has been beautifully renovated. The staff are incredible helpful and friendly. The food was wonderful. Breakfasts included anything you could want and dinners were lovely. “Although only booked for one night, but I had a very good experience.The staff are very helpful, the location is convenience that is close to town and just next to Cathedral. I love the fact that the hotel is a historical building and preserved so well from the inside and outside. Highly recommend to stay there while you visit Stonehenge, Old Sarum & Saisbury Cathedral.”

“We based ourselves here for a long weekend to visit some places in the New Forest, we found it a pleasant and comfortable hotel, ideally placed for our requirements with lovely views and nice staff. “Spent a lovely few days at the Woodlands hotel with a friend and our two dogs. Staff were very friendly and the rooms were nice. If you are looking to take a dog with you it's a great choice. They have a lovely big safe garden, with a gate leading straight out to the forest. There is a bar area where you are allowed to have your dog with you during breakfast and dinner and the food is very good. If you are not a doggy person, there is a separate dining room, so you don't have eat with dogs……

“We spent two nights at the White Star Tavern hotel. The rooms are lovely and quite luxurious. The breakfast was excellent. The only issue we had was a small dog lives in a small apartment at the back of the hotel. When we went out to the rooftop garden it bit my foot and ripped my husband's shoes. ”
