“The hotel has been beautifully renovated. The staff are incredible helpful and friendly. The food was wonderful. Breakfasts included anything you could want and dinners were lovely. This is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in and right on the edge of the forest with wonderful wildlife, walk and cycle paths.”

“We based ourselves here for a long weekend to visit some places in the New Forest, we found it a pleasant and comfortable hotel, ideally placed for our requirements with lovely views and nice staff. “The Hotel was situated in pleasant surroundings, catered for everyone including children. The staff were very welcoming and easy to approach. The menu choice was very good and the food cooked to a very good standard my wife and I enjoyed celebrating our 45 wedding anniversary here. ”

“Staff were great. Particularly one member of staff who was on reception when we arrived, in the bar when we came back later that night and then back on reception first thing in the morning. I cant recall her name but she was very helpful, extremely personable and a credit to the hotel.”

“We spent two nights at the White Star Tavern hotel. The rooms are lovely and quite luxurious. The breakfast was excellent. The only issue we had was a small dog lives in a small apartment at the back of the hotel. When we went out to the rooftop garden it bit my foot and ripped my husband's shoes. ”
