“The housekeepers were nice. The bartenders were nice. The food servers were nice. The wifi was excellent. The food was great and they delivered it to your room if you didn't want to come to the dining room. They had a microwave and drinking water in the common area. Everything was great. Stayed for eighteen nights. Was way better than expected. ”

“We came to Excellence El Carmen for our honeymoon! We had one initial hiccup with some racists, less than classy wannabe African American gangster guys and wives. It was like stare down and intimidation for hours just because my Caucasian husband was happy and dancing. I don’t know who comes to a classy resort and acts like this, it was ridiculous to the point I had to call Excellence security fearing these racists would jump him and I in their night club. “This hotel was hands down the best I have stayed at in Punta Cana. As a solo traveler, I always felt welcomed! Loved the fact that they have a vegan menu at all of their restaurants which I so appreciated! Service is top notch and the resort surroundings are well kept and beautiful! I was welcomed with a bottle of champagne in my room. Although everyone was so helpful and attentive, one person that made my stay that much more enjoyable is Santa, restaurant supervisor.
