“Took the wife to the parsonage hotel and spa for a valentine/birthday weekend get away and couldn’t be more happy with the service we received. The room was lovely and spacious not to mention cleaned to a high standard. The area where the hotel is situated is nice and quiet with very little noise. We will definitely be visiting again and can’t wait. ”

“The stay was marred by the room air conditioning not working properly and the room being too hot , and a check in experience that was the worst I had ever experienced. There was a mix up between the hotel and Hotel.com over payment and the hotel asked me to pay again! I supplied them, as asked with the receipt from hotel.com and my bank statement showing the payment to Hotel.com. But 4 hours later they had not been in contact to say it had been resolved so I contacted Hotel.com on the app and……

“Rating based entirely on the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and the fantastic spa facilities. There was work going on while we were there which was a minor inconvenience but the room we stayed in was the real let down. Dated and uncared for. The bathroom was poorly finished and the shower was not the cleanest. The flooring was lifting and squishy in places and the room itself smelt of damp. We ended up using the spa showers in the end which were superb. Scoffs and marks all over the……
