“Overall, excellent resort! Our room was amazing and clean. The food was delicious and I strongly recommend making your restaurant reservations for your stay the moment you arrive. The lady at the desk who helped me with this set me up nicely for my entire stay. The only reason for the 4-stars under staff is due to some punk kid (staff member) that literally wanted my son’s DNA and his passport in order to play in the gaming room. Even if he was just following policy, I find it a ridiculous ask……

“We were looking for an all inclusive that did not feel like it was “mass produced”. The attention to detail and food and cleanliness was excellent. The staff are amazing (shout out to Gustavo (concierge), Carlos and Emilio (indoor wait staff) and Kevin (outdoor waitstaff). If you are looking for big, loud with lots of night life - this is not for you …. But we were looking for a peaceful week away and had plenty of options if we were interested in getting out of our pool chairs. Highly……

“I liked the fact that their dinner buffet changed everyday. So every day was a different theme so the food was not the same every day. I did not liked the fact that we could not go into the beach in any of the days we stayed. From what I understand this was due to erosion..so we had to travel north to islas mujeres to be able to go into the water. Kind of sucked but we made the most of it. ”

"This is the worst 5-star all-inclusive experience our family had during christmas. We did not have hot shower for three nights and the room has been freezing cold. We informed the hotel the first night and they kept sending maintenance people without fixing it. And whats worse, they did not really care about our problems. Everytime I called them, I need to explain the situation again. And what I got is 'we will send someone to fix' ' the hotel is fully booked so not possible to change the room' or 'this is the general problem'. The daily activities and restaurants are good but I think the room itself is the basic of which the problem and technicians visits, really bother our holiday mood."
