“I think it is a property that should have more exposure. There is nice long clean beaches that has trees and shade. The beach doesn't have waves. Which makes it swimable out front. They have lifeguards. I didnt know that there has activities include like the waterpark, catamaran, and two water pools in the jungle. The food is amazing, you dont sign the room number. No beach vendors. Many a places to drink and eat. Amazing food no buffet.”

“My husband and I stayed for 4 full days and experienced excellent service from beginning until the very end of our trip. I love that this resort has kept the Spanish colonial charm in its decor the grounds are beautifully preserved. The food (especially for resort food) was great. I would say the best we have ever experienced at any resort we have ever visited. “Ive been to Playa Del Carmen over ten times and have stayed at seven different resorts. We stayed a total of 13 days and truly enjoyed our stay. I wanted to give a shout out to Carlos Quintal in the Grill restaurant. Carlos Quintal truly defined what customer service is all about. He was so attentive to our needs and also a true gentleman. Carlos, along with a great resort, is the reason we plan on returning. A+”

“Property is beautiful and conveniently laid out. The rooms and bathrooms are tastefully decorated and the beds are super comfortable. Great gym. Would have liked more dining options and pricing is somewhat excessive especially for food and drinks at the pool. Definitely recommend Casa Abuela. The staff was super efficient and could not have been nicer.”
